Wolf Creek specializes in attachment disorders and other serious relational and self-destructive behavioral difficulties in boys and girls. Our staff is highly qualified and trained to deal with and treat various psychological disorders that many other boarding schools that call themselves “therapeutic” are not equipped to handle.
We are a faith-based program devoted to integrity, character, and personal responsibility. Each of the teens who attend our program can be productive individuals when given guidance and the opportunity to reach their potential.
Wolf Creek Academy sets up a loving home environment for teen boys and girls who have gone off course. Residents live in a comfortable home with a husband and wife team of houseparents and residential assistants. Within our family model, boys and girls are responsible for daily chores common to home life and learn to respect authority and interact with their peers.
Parent involvement is critical to the effectiveness of our therapeutic boarding school program.
Parents stay up to date with weekly verbal and email reports and participate in the progress of their teen.
For the teen, every day begins with small group counseling sessions about anger management, respect for authority, and lots of other topics of importance to teens. Weekly individual sessions help teens make progress toward their counseling goals. We also have a substance abuse program to handle issues related to drug use or any other addictive behaviors including eating disorders or cutting.
Our accredited school lets students achieve at their own pace.
With our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their own speed. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the workbooks and help students who require extra assistance with their work. Credits transfer easily to public and private schools, and graduates earn a high school diploma. Our new skills development center teaches a skilled trade along with vital skills for a manufacturing environment including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for new employees, along with other disciplines.
