Wolf Creek Academy provides a nurturing home environment for teen boys and girls who have lost their way. In this family model, boys and girls participate in daily chores common to home life and learn how to respect authority and cooperate with their peers.
Parent involvement is very important to the success of our therapeutic boarding school program.
Parents stay informed with weekly verbal and email reports and participate in the progress of their boy or girl.
For the teen, every day starts with small group counseling sessions regarding anger management, respect for authority, and lots of other topics highly relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their therapeutic goals. Our program also includes a substance abuse program to manage issues related to drug abuse or any other addictive behaviors for example eating disorders or cutting.
Our accredited school lets students find success at their own pace.
With our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their very own pace. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the courses and help students who require extra assistance with their work. Credits transfer easily to public and private schools, and graduates earn a high school diploma. Our recently added skills development center teaches a skilled trade along with vital skills for the manufacturing environment including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for first time employees, and other disciplines.
