Parent involvement is crucial to the effectiveness of our therapeutic boarding school program. Parents stay informed with weekly verbal and email reports and participate in the progress of their son or daughter.
For the teen, every day commences with small group counseling sessions covering anger management, respect for authority, and a lot of other topics relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help teens make progress toward their counseling goals. Our program also includes a substance abuse program to manage issues related to drug abuse or other addictive behaviors including eating disorders or cutting.

Using our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can complete missing credits in their education and work successfully at their very own pace. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the material and help students who can use extra help with their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and those who complete the curriculum earn a high school diploma. Our recently added skills development center teaches a skilled trade along with vital skills for a manufacturing environment including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for brand new employees, along with other disciplines.
To help keep teens physically active we hold daily PE classes including a variety of sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalacian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Weekly social activities also vary and may include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums and much more.
