Residents live in a comfortable home with a husband and wife team of houseparents and assistants. Inside our family model, girls and boys participate in daily chores common to home life and learn how to respect authority and interact with their peers.
For the teen, each morning commences with small group counseling sessions covering anger management, respect for authority, and several other topics relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their behavioral goals. We also have a substance abuse program to deal with issues related to drug and alcohol use or other addictive behaviors like eating disorders or cutting.
