Helping Teens Reach their Full Potential

We are a faith-based program emphasizing integrity, character, and accountability. All the teens who attend our program can be productive members of society when given guidance and a chance to reach their potential.
Wolf Creek Academy sets up a loving home environment for teen boys and girls who have lost their way. Residents live in a comfortable home with a husband and wife team of houseparents and assistants. In this family model, boys and girls are responsible for daily chores common to home life and discover how to respect authority and relate well with their peers.
Keeping Parents Involved with the Program for Restoration for the Entire Family
Parent involvement is very important to the effectiveness of our therapeutic boarding school program. Parents receive weekly verbal and email reports and remain involved in progress of their boy or girl.
For the teen, each day starts off with small group counseling sessions about anger management, respect for authority, and lots of other topics highly relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help teens make progress toward their counseling goals. Our program also includes a substance abuse program to cope with issues related to drug abuse or any other addictive behaviors including eating disorders or cutting.
Accredited School Lets Students Succeed at Their Own Pace
Under our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can fill in gaps in their education and work successfully at their unique speed. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the classwork and help students who can use extra assistance with their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and graduates earn a high school diploma. Our new skills development center teaches a skilled trade along with vital skills for a manufacturing environment including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for first time employees, as well as other disciplines.
To keep teens physically active we conduct daily PE classes including various sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalacian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Weekly social activities also vary and include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums and much more.
