Residents live in a comfortable home run by a married couple team of houseparents and assistants. Inside our family model, boys and girls participate in daily chores typical of home life and learn to respect authority and get along with their peers.
Keeping Parents Involved in the Program for Restoration for the Entire Family
Parent involvement is critical to the success of our therapeutic boarding school program. Parents receive weekly verbal and email reports and remain involved in progress of their boy or girl.
For the teen, each morning begins with small group counseling sessions related to anger management, respect for authority, and a lot of other topics highly relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their behavioral goals. In addition, we have a substance abuse program to manage issues related to drug and alcohol use or any other addictive behaviors including eating disorders or cutting.
Accredited School Lets Students Find Success at Their Own Pace
With our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their unique speed. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the classwork and help students who require extra input for their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and those who complete the curriculum earn a high school diploma. Our recently added skills development center offers a skilled trade as well as vital skills for the manufacturing environment including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for first time employees, as well as other disciplines.
