Believing Teens Can Reach their Full Potential

We are a faith-based program dedicated to integrity, character, and accountability. Each of the teens who attend our program can grow into productive individuals when given guidance and an opportunity to reach their potential.
Wolf Creek Academy gives a safe home environment for teen boys and girls who lack direction. Residents live in a comfortable home with a married couple team of houseparents and assistants. Within our family model, teenagers assist with daily chores typical of home life and learn how to respect authority and interact with their peers.
Keeping Parents Involved in the Program for Restoration for the Whole Family
Parent involvement is very important to the success of our therapeutic boarding school program. Parents receive weekly verbal and email reports and remain involved in progress of their child.
For the teen, each morning commences with small group counseling sessions related to anger management, respect for authority, and lots of other topics of importance to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their behavioral goals. In addition, we have a substance abuse program to handle issues related to drug abuse and other addictive behaviors including eating disorders or cutting.
Accredited School Lets Students Find Success at Their Own Pace
With our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their particular pace. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the classwork and help students who can use extra assistance with their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and those who complete the curriculum earn a high school diploma. Our recently added skills development center teaches a skilled trade along with vital skills for the manufacturing environment including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for new employees, and also other disciplines.
To keep teens physically active we conduct daily PE classes including a variety of sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalacian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Weekly social activities also vary and can include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums and more.
