We are a faith-based program dedicated to integrity, character, and personal responsibility. Each of the teens who attend our program can grow into productive individuals when given guidance and an opportunity to reach their potential.
Wolf Creek Academy sets up a loving home environment for teen boys and girls who have lost their way. Residents live in a comfortable home run by a husband and wife team of houseparents and residential assistants. In our family model, teens are responsible for daily chores normal for home life and learn to respect authority and cooperate with their peers.
Parent involvement is important to the effectiveness of our therapeutic boarding school program.
Parents stay up to date with weekly verbal and email reports and remain involved in progress of their child.
For the teen, each day starts with small group counseling sessions related to anger management, respect for authority, and many other topics highly relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help teens make progress toward their therapeutic goals. Our program also includes a risky activities program to cope with issues related to drug abuse or any other addictive behaviors for example, eating disorders or cutting.
Our accredited school lets students find success at their own pace.
Under our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their particular pace. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the material and help students who need extra assistance with their work. Credits transfer easily to public and private schools, and those who complete the curriculum earn a high school diploma. Our new skills development center instructs students in a skilled trade as well as vital skills for the manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for brand new employees, and other disciplines.
