Located in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, Wolf Creek Academy serves teenage girls and boys on different parts of its campus who have ongoing behavior difficulties, strained family relationships, or any other emotional problems.

Wolf Creek specializes in attachment disorders and other serious relational and self-destructive behavioral difficulties in boys and girls.  Our staff is highly qualified and trained to deal with and treat various psychological disorders that many other boarding schools that call themselves “therapeutic” are not equipped to handle.

We are a faith-based program dedicated to integrity, character, and personal responsibility. All of the teens who attend our program can be productive members of society when given guidance and an opportunity to reach their potential.

Wolf Creek Academy offers a loving home environment for teen boys and girls who have gone off course. Residents live in a comfortable home with a husband and wife team of houseparents and residential assistants. In this family model, teens participate in daily chores common to home life and learn how to respect authority and cooperate with their peers.

Parents stay informed with weekly verbal and email reports and remain involved in progress of their child.

For the teen, every day begins with small group counseling sessions regarding anger management, respect for authority, and several other topics of importance to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their therapeutic goals. In addition, we have a special therapy program to cope with issues related to drug abuse or any other addictive behaviors for example, eating disorders or cutting.

Our accredited school lets students succeed at their own pace.

With our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their very own speed. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the workbooks and help students who can use extra help with their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and graduates earn a high school diploma. Our new skills development center offers a skilled trade along with vital skills for the manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for brand new employees, and other disciplines.
