We also have a risky activities program to deal with issues related to drug abuse and other addictive behaviors such as eating disorders or cutting.

Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the material and help students who need extra input for their work. Our new skills development center teaches a skilled trade along with vital skills for the manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for first time employees, and other disciplines.

To help keep teens physically active we hold daily PE classes including a number of sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalachian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Weekly social activities also vary and include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums, plus more.
