For the teen, every day starts with small group counseling sessions covering anger management, respect for authority, and several other topics relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help teens make progress toward their counseling goals. Our program also includes a risky activities program to manage issues related to drug use or other addictive behaviors such as eating disorders or cutting.
Accredited School Lets Students Succeed at Their Own Pace
Using our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their particular speed. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the courses and help students who need extra assistance with their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and those who complete the curriculum earn a high school diploma. Our new skills development center offers a skilled trade along with vital skills for a manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for brand new employees, and other disciplines.
To help keep teens physically active we hold daily PE classes including a variety of sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalachian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Weekly social activities also vary and include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums and much more.
