Situated in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, Wolf Creek Academy serves teenage boys and girls on different parts of its campus who have a history of behavior difficulties, broken family relationships, or any other emotional issues. We are a faith-based program dedicated to integrity, character, and accountability. Each of the teens who attend our program can grow into productive individuals when given guidance and the opportunity to reach their potential.

Wolf Creek Academy provides a nurturing home environment for teen boys and girls who have gone off course. Residents live in a comfortable home with a husband and wife team of houseparents and assistants. Inside our family model, boys and girls are responsible for daily chores typical of home life and learn how to respect authority and interact with their peers.

For the teen, each day commences with small group counseling sessions regarding anger management, respect for authority, and many other topics of importance to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their behavioral goals. In addition, we have a special therapy program to cope with issues related to drug abuse or any other addictive behaviors like eating disorders or cutting.

The Wolf Creek Accredited School Lets Students Succeed at Their Own Pace

With our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can complete missing credits in their education and work successfully at their own pace. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the workbooks and help students who can use extra input for their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and those who complete the curriculum earn a high school diploma. Our recently added skills development center instructs students in a skilled trade as well as vital skills for a manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for first time employees, and other disciplines.
