Parent involvement is critical to the effectiveness of our therapeutic boarding school program. Parents receive weekly verbal and email reports and play a role in the progress of their son or daughter.

For the teen, each day starts with small group counseling sessions about anger management, respect for authority, and a lot of other topics of importance to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their counseling goals. Our program also includes a risky activities program to cope with issues related to drug and alcohol use and other addictive behaviors for example, eating disorders or cutting.

Accredited School Lets Students Achieve at Their Own Pace

Under our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can fill in gaps in their education and work successfully at their own pace. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the workbooks and help students who need extra assistance with their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and graduates earn a high school diploma. Our recently added skills development center instructs students in a skilled trade as well as vital skills for any manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for new employees, along with other disciplines.

To keep teens physically active we hold daily PE classes including a number of sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalachian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Every week, social activities also vary and include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums plus much more.
