For the teen, each day begins with small group counseling sessions covering anger management, respect for authority, and several other topics of importance to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their counseling goals. We also have a risky activities program to deal with issues related to drug and alcohol use and other addictive behaviors for example, eating disorders or cutting.

In our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their own pace. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the classwork and help students who need extra help with their work. Credits transfer easily to public and private schools, and graduates earn a high school diploma. Our new skills development center offers a skilled trade as well as vital skills for any manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for new employees, along with other disciplines.

To keep teens physically active, we run daily PE classes including a number of sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalachian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Weekly social activities also vary and include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums and much more.
