For the teen, each morning starts off with small group counseling sessions regarding anger management, respect for authority, and a lot of other topics relevant to teens. Weekly individual sessions help residents make progress toward their behavioral goals. Our program also includes a risky activities program to deal with issues related to drug use or other addictive behaviors including eating disorders or cutting.

Under our fully accredited Christian curriculum, students can catch up in their education and work successfully at their own rate. Teachers and assistants monitor progress through the material and help students who can use extra input for their work. Credits transfer easily to other schools, and those who complete the curriculum earn a high school diploma. Our new skills development center instructs students in a skilled trade along with vital skills for the manufacturing environment, including welding skills, shop safety, work ethic for new employees, and other disciplines.
To keep teens physically active, we run daily PE classes, including various sports and seasonal outdoor adventure activities, including hiking (the Appalachian Trail is nearby) and skiing. Every week, social activities also vary and may include bowling, movies, church, visiting museums and much more.
